CarCutter is the global #1 visual AI editing and optimization solution for the automotive industry, part of the international on-demand photography company Meero, and is used by customers from all around the world. Due to our steady growth, we are now expanding our passionate & motivated CarCutter team located in Graz Austria, Paris France, Barcelona Spain and London UK.We are looking for a new talent as a Business Development & Partnerships Manager (m/f/x) located on the East Coast of the USA, who will play a crucial role in the expansion of the CarCutter brand in the US market while working fully remote and reporting to our head office as part of our international team.

Job responsibilities

Your mission @ CarCutter:

  • Market Expansion: Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies and execute plans for the expansion of CarCutter in the US market.
  • Prospecting and Relationship Building: Identify, prospect, and establish strong, long-lasting partnerships with key US DMS players and software providers while building rapport and fostering trust with potential partners.
  • Integration Coordination: Work closely with the technical team to ensure seamless integration of CarCutter software with partner platforms.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with trends and developments in the automotive marketplace, particularly in relation to DMS, IMS, and CRM providers and software, maintaining a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and using this knowledge to identify opportunities for strategic partnerships.
  • Negotiation and Contracting: Collaborate with legal and business development teams to negotiate partnership agreements and contracts while ensuring they align with CarCutter's objectives and protect the company's interests.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with already existing partners- continuously engage with them to understand their evolving needs and identify opportunities for mutual growth.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Track partnership performance metrics and prepare regular reports to assess their effectiveness while analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

Job requirements

You have:

  • deep understanding of the automotive marketplace, with specific knowledge of dealerships, dealer groups, DMS (Dealer Management Systems), IMS (Inventory Management Systems), lot service companies, OEM certified programs and/or CRM (Customer Relationship Management) providers and software, as well as a strong corresponding network within these areas.
  • a proven track record of successful business development and partnership management within the automotive industry.
  • at least 3-5 years in an outside sales business development role, including either: experience selling complex solutions to automotive dealerships or prior retail dealership experience.
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, along with strong negotiation and contract management abilities.
  • an analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data and use them to drive business decisions.
  • flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly evolving industry, are self-motivated & results-oriented, and able to work both independently or as part of a team.
